Los MTV VMAs 2026 ya tienen ganadores. La ceremonia se realizó el domingo 27 de septiembre en el Peacock Theater de Los Ángeles, con Snoop Dogg como anfitrión y una lista de premios que dejó a Madonna y Taylor Swift entre los nombres principales de la noche. Taylor Swift ganó Video del Año por ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, Madonna recibió Artista del Año y BTS se llevó Canción del Año por ‘SWIM’. Sienna Spiro ganó Mejor Artista Nuevo y LISA recibió el premio a Mejor Pop por ‘Dream’, junto a Kentaro Sakaguchi.

Madonna terminó los MTV VMAs 2026 como la artista con más premios de la noche, con siete Moon Person. Entre sus victorias estuvieron Artista del Año, Mejor Álbum por ‘Confessions II’, Mejor Video de Formato Largo por ‘Confessions II – The Film’ y Mejor Dance por el mismo proyecto.
Taylor Swift, por su parte, salió de la ceremonia con dos premios competitivos, incluido Video del Año por ‘The Fate of Ophelia’. Con esas victorias superó a Beyoncé y quedó como la artista con más premios acumulados en la historia de los VMAs. Recibió el primer MTV VMA Artist Director Honors, un reconocimiento especial a su trabajo detrás de cámara.
BTS también tuvo una noche con más de una victoria, el grupo ganó Canción del Año por ‘SWIM’, Mejor K-Pop con la misma canción y Mejor Grupo. Así, la edición 2026 cerró con Madonna como la mayor ganadora de la ceremonia, Taylor Swift llevándose el premio principal de Video del Año y BTS consiguiendo tres reconocimientos.
